Lovekin Pioneer Cemetery

Richard Lovekin Jr. settled this lot in about 1796. There were once more stones which have since disappeared. Seven stones are still standing. The cemetery is now in a gated community. |

Lot 35 Concession 1 of the former Clarke Township, Durham County (now Clarington). Exit Hwy 115 at Hwy 2. Drive east a short distance to Cobbledick Road. Drive south over Hwy 401 to the Service Road. Drive west and arount the corner to the south. The cemetery is on private property behind the houses on the east side. GPS 43.90045, -78.62083
