Stones from the Old Orono Cemetery are now in a cairn at the Lawrence/Waddell Presbyterian cemetery. The old Orono Cemetery was situated at the north end of Church Street, Orono. The stones were moved because of vandalism. The cemetery was nondenominational. The cairn was erected in 1982.
