Foster Memorial Cemetery

Description

This cemetery has a large mausoleum. A Primitive Methodist chapel was built here in 1851. In 1861, it became Bible Christian and it was part of the Sandford Methodist Circuit after the methodist union. It was sold in 1901.

Directions to Cemetery

Lot 7, Concession 7 of the former Scott Township, Ontario County (now Uxbridge).
Drive north from Hwy. 401 on Highway 12 to Durham Road 47. Drive west to the town of Uxbridge. At the four corners of Uxbridge, turn north on Main Street (Durham Road 1). After passing Sandford Road, look for the mausoleum on the east side of the road.
